Renaissance

Originally built in 1908 by opera impresario, Oscar Hammerstein, The Met debuted its $56 million renovation to great Philadelphia fanfare in 2018 after restoring this iconic North Broad Street fixture to its original architectural grandeur and beyond. A Live Nation live entertainment venue showcasing many of the world’s top performers, The Met also offers a majestic backdrop and expansive space to host private parties, corporate events, fundraisers, presentations, awards shows, large galas and more throughout its four floors of flexible event space. With its close proximity to the PA Convention Center, the building offers tremendous staging flexibility and is ideal for large capacity events.

With its fully restored terrazzo floors and original Philadelphia Opera House crest, the 4,500 sq ft Lobby serves as an elegant welcome to guests and features a beautiful full-service bar.
